Dual Language Immersion Program

Our Dual Language Immersion Program in Mrs. Creger's and Mrs. Escobar's Kindergarten classes has been very successful this year!  Ask us about the Dual Language Immersion program continuing at Viewmont Elementary School for the 2020-2021 school year.  Program enrollment is for rising kindergarten students. Dual language classes are bilingual classes where native-English speakers and native-Spanish speakers learn together with the goal of being proficient in both languages.  If you are interested in learning more, please attend one of our upcoming parent sessions listed below, or call our office to request more information or speak with someone about this exciting program and opportunity for rising kindergarten students. Enrollment applications are due May 29th, 2020.

Ready4K is a program developed at Stanford University that sends text messages to your phone to help you prepare your child for kindergarten.   The text tips focus on early language and literacy development.  You can choose the language in which you would like to receive the tips.  You will receive three tips a week.  You can sign up for Ready4K by texting

The tips are free, but text messaging charges may apply, depending on your phone plan.
