EOG RETESTING

Parents of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders:

We should end all EOG testing on Tuesday, May 25th. We may have a make-up session, but regular sessions should be completed. We will then begin remediation for students that did not pass the math EOG or 5th grade Science EOG. Those students that did not pass the math EOG or 5th grade Science EOG will be able to take a retest. That information came out in a letter, but there has been some confusion with that letter and this will hopefully clear up the confusion.

On Tuesday, June 1st, our school will be open from 8:00-2:00 for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders that need to retest in Math, and for our 5th graders that may need to retest in Science. Those that need to retest only in 5th grade Science may attend on June 1st for an extra remediation session. If a 5th grade student needs to retest in Math and Science, those students can receive extra remediation in Science after the Math retest is done. Buses will run on June 1st and breakfast and lunch will be served. June 1st will be the only day for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to retest in Math. On June 1st, parents can pick up students after they have completed the retest (around noon), if they choose.

On Wednesday, June 2nd, our school will be open from 8:00-2:00 for our 5th graders that need to retest in Science. Buses will run on June 2nd and breakfast and lunch will be served. On June 2nd, parents can pick up students after they have completed the retest (around noon), if they choose.

Testing will begin around 9:00 am on both days.

More information will come home once we have test results and know which students need to retest.

This is different from the Summer Palooza that will take place in June and July.
