Dual Language Immersion Program

Ask us about the Dual Language Immersion program continuing at Viewmont Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year.  Program enrollment is for rising kindergarten students. Dual language classes are bilingual classes where native-English speakers and native-Spanish speakers learn together with the goal of being proficient in both languages.  If you are interested in learning more, please call our office to request more information or speak with someone about this exciting program and opportunity for rising kindergarten students.

MORNING CAR RIDERS
Please arrive between 8:00-8:30AM to drop students off in the morning.  Students are not allowed in the building until 8:00AM.  Arriving earlier than 7:50AM to the parking lot will prevent staff members from being able to park and get in the building in time to supervise students and will delay the flow of traffic in the car line. Students who arrive after 8:30AM will need an adult to sign them in and get a tardy slip.  For safety reasons, please drive slowly and cautiously in our parking lot and do not park or stop your vehicle in the no-parking Fire Zone or crosswalks during any part of the day.

Please arrive at school no later than 3:30PM to get in line for pick up. Our car line pick up has become quicker over the last week. All students should be picked up no later than 3:40PM. ***
ST. LUKE'S WALKERS
Please be ready to meet your child in the grassy area beside the school sign by 3:10PM. Have the Carline card you were issued in your hand. This helps us to know that you are the person responsible for picking up your child. St. Luke's walkers who are not picked up by 3:20PM will be sent inside to the car rider area and you will need to join the car line to pick up your child after 3:20PM.  ***
