I have been  teaching first grade at Viewmont since 2001!  Teaching is a passion, not a job!  Every day is new and different.  Time flies in the first grade.  I would love for  you to volunteer during our small math group time, or tutor students in math or reading.  Send me an e-mail or a note if you are interested in doing so!   
I've lived in Hickory over 30 years.  I am married and have two grown daughters,
 a son-in-law,  grandchildren, a labrador retriever, and a cat.    I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, taking walks, attending spin class at the YMCA, 
and going to HG Fitness class.
